Distretto A and Skip La Comune presents Tellas | Terra E Mare
On Saturday the 16th of June
Complesso Case Popolari between Via G. Bennici and Via M.Adorno
Via M. Marine in front of the Ecomuseo Del Mare
From June 10th, street artist Tellas has been working on a mural whose evocative floral and mineral elements represents an imaginary bridge that will link the historic center of Faenza and the suburbs of Palermo, with a single goal: to regenerate forgotten areas.
The artist was born in Cagliari in 1985; in 2014 the American edition of the Huffington Post listed him among the 25 most interesting street artists in the world.
The project “Terra e Mare” [Land and Sea] first found a place in the historic center of Faenza and now in the suburbs of Palermo.

For the portion of the project in Palermo, Tellas won the Urban Art Contest 2018, an international competition dedicated to street artists who contribute to urban regeneration with their art.
The approach of street artist Tellas is the result of a non-urban aesthetic: his work is a reinterpretation of his intimate vision of the compositional elements comprising the natural landscape.
All his works are conceived as studies and analysis produced on different supports: large wall surfaces, paper or even canvas and installations. The double work “Terra e Mare” will be finished on June 16th and will be presented to the city on the occasion of the MEI youth event, organized for the Music Festival.
