Miss Van Retrospective Show 2003 - 2018
Openspace Gallery | Paris
Opening on on Saturday, May 19th 6pm - 9pm
May 19th - June 14th
In spring 2018, the Openspace Gallery presents an exhibition event. Nicolas Chenus and Samantha Longhi decided to highlight Miss Van, a historical artist, considered one of the greatest figures of international contemporary urban art. Returning to the fifteen-year career of the female artist, this retrospective exhibition shows a selection of her exquisitely sensual paintings, from 2003 to 2018.

Having started painting with a brush on the walls of Toulouse in the 90s, Miss Van is considered one of the major artists of the international urban contemporary art movement. She has been living in Barcelona for several years and regularly exhibits in the United States, especially in California. The pictorial richness of her work and the evolution of her research led her to develop over time many series that took shape over her inspirations.
More than 90 paintings and drawings will be exhibited as part of this exceptional retrospective through the various spaces of the Paris gallery.
