‘JBROCK: SETTE VARIAZIONI 2000-2022″ (Seven Variations 2000-2022) was a huge success, a catalogue for the exhibition of the same name, documenting the 22 year evolution of the graffiti artist’s character Ciccio, bringing JBROCK fame in Italy and internationally.
In 2022, JBROCK in seven remarkable episodes collaborating with his friend and photographer Niccolò Berretta, strategically positioned and captured the Ciccio around the city of Rome in various iconic locations. Friends and strangers, famous and unknown, all sought to have their picture taken by Niccolò Berretta with Ciccio in the background. This event took place in some of the most beautiful and significant locations in the Eternal City, with backdrops ranging from the tourist hotspot Campo dè Fiori to the skatepark at Ponte della Musica, and from Trastevere to the nightlife hub of Ponte Milvio and to the Porta Portese flea market.
JBROCK: SETTE VARIAZIONI 2000-2022′ also includes a text by the Roman artist and friend, Lucamaleonte. It encapsulates this remarkable project in 88 pages, showcasing over 300 images. The book is published in a limited edition of 200 numbered and artist-signed copies on the cover.
